Warriors for Life (WFL) - "Mid-week Musings!" - "Falling Forward Backwards Progress!" Everyone is Welcome!

TONIGHT's Topic: "Falling Forward! Backward Progress!"

"We all fall, we all get some things backward, the trick is, to make progress when doing so.  In 1983 at just 23 years old, Donald Davis did just that.  He made progress going backward.  In fact, he ran backward, so fast that he set a world record for the fastest time running a mile backward, in just over 6 minutes!  In Dec of 1982, Davis ran a complete marathon, 26.4 miles, completely backward, in a total record-breaking 4 hours 20 minutes 36 seconds!!  Truly progress while going backward!

So what can we learn from this?  First, Never give up!  Second, even when going backward, try to make progress!  How do we accomplish this?  How can we fall forward and still make advances when making mistakes?" Air Force Veteran Steven Bates
