Today’s Message is: “Kindness Day!” Why Not?
“Is there strength in kindness as a leader? If you gain trust from your team, you show kindness through your behavior, why not? You can be kind by encouraging people to achieve their goals and finding new opportunities for them. Being kind requires courage and strength. Today you can show a little kindness without being portrayed as weak!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good R.E.D. Friday Col Burroughs and all my brothers and sisters here on VFV. This is very interesting, in that Linda and I were discussing this very thing, with a fellow who is working for us, that we have become friends with. He is making a trip to Texas for his Father in Law's funeral. We advanced him some money for the trip. We do not expect repayment. He wept at our kindness extended to him and his wife. A long story that I will not share here. With that being said, I have found a link that discusses this very topic today, that I share below. Have a blessed day today and always.

Good R.E.D. Friday Colonel.
Some of the toughest leaders I've ever worked for were also the kindest, the two are not mutually exclusive.
