Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Have y’all considered that God is allowing the world’s events to happen. He has a timeline for all creation and we should prayerfully consider accepting what happening right now is God is allowing it so as to advance His plan for all mankind. Have a blessed day today and always.

What does the Bible say about acceptance?

ANSWER “I give up,” some say when faced with a difficult situation. Others disagree. “You can write your own ticket with God,” they claim. “Just pray in faith and you can have what you want.” Those two extremes often surface in discussions about the acceptance of events…

Brought back some memories with the comment on leaders having to accept the good, the bad, and the ugly. During the change of command ceremony for my first squadron the First Sergeant was called out. Turned out he had to go to town to bail out a squadron member who had been arrested for drunk driving. Later in the day my first official act as commander was dealing with the ugly side of command.

OMG... I had plenty of those at every level of command from Company, to Battalion, to Brigade and even down range. I wasn't like all the time during my commands, but in the end they respected the decisions I made that benefited the whole, not just the one. Have a great day Jack and thank you!
