The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day and Week!
Good “R.E.D. Friday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the end of another week from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 15 April 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Facing Fear Day!” Why Not?
“How do leaders face fear head-on? Leaders understand that most fear does not come from external sources. Fear is generated within you, and you must be able to conquer that fear. Even the most confident, calm, and collected leaders will deal with fears. An effective leader will put a spotlight on their fears to move forward to success. They can handle criticism, make solid decisions quickly, achieve desired results, and have difficult discussions when needed without fear. Look fear in the face and act!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I have been taught that there are two types of fear. When I fully turned my life over to the Lord, my fear of things and people, seems to have disappeared. This includes the fear of events and other things. However, I have developed a stronger fear that is a good type of fear and that is the fear of the Lord, which is a good type. I believe that the following link, that I have provided, will explain that very well. You may want to listen to the video as well. Have blessed rest of your day and always.

What does the Bible…
Hope you have a great day and weekend as well.
Fear is a funny thing! I'm perfectly at ease flying at 450 kts 400' above the ground but put me on a roof at zero speed and I'm scared go death.
Good R.E.D. Friday Colonel. I liked the acronym one so I kept it.
