Today's Message is: "Good Enough Day!" Why Not?

The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day and Week!

Let’s “Remember Everyone Deployed” today and every day until they return home safely once again!

Good “R.E.D. Friday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections.  Welcome to the end of the week from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in Conroe, TX — 15 March 2024!

Today’s Message is:  “Good Enough Day!”  Why Not?

“Having a vision is great for people to follow, but it’s the leader that inspires and motivates people to follow it.  Leaders that build ‘strong enough’ trust, make ‘right enough’  things happen, and make ‘good enough’ decisions are always striving for ‘good enough’ and people will follow!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Far too many people waste too much time an money worrying about whether they are good enough. Heck, the entire motivational speaker industry is built around those concerns. I prefer to keep it simple, if you weren't good enough you wouldn't be wherever it is that you are.....Period!

Great point Jack... Iike the concept of a Good Life versus being "Good Enough!" If you live a good and norable life, then that is "Good Enough!" Just my 2 cents. Have a great evening my friend. Thank you!

Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. When it comes to my spiritual life, even though I may not be good enough, I know that God is enough for me. I am so ever grateful for Grace. Have a blessed day today and always.

Great post Gene. I believe you are good enough my friend. Even if there are bumps in the road your faith will prevail my friend. If you ever have to move to assisted living in the future Gene, rmember you have benefits through the VA called "Time and Attendance." make usre you research that for the future, if you have to move to assisted living. Those could really help out. Thank you
