The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day and Week!
Good “R.E.D. Friday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the end of another week from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” on Day Ten of “Operation Costa Rica!” — 21 January 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Nature Walk Day!” Why Not?
“Taking a nature walk is not uncommon for a leader. The natural surroundings of the outdoors and nature can really clear the mind and decrease negative thinking. Take time to bring your mind and awareness down to your feet, pause, and make that connection with the earth below you. Find out who you really are by feeling grounded." — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Nature is the visible evidence of a majestic and miraculous Creator God. I find it so calming to live among the nature of our blessed earth. While many things run amuck in our world, nature shows that there can be balance in life. Have a blessed day today and always.
Jack your comments remind me of one quote I have always liked. "Jnto the forest I must go, to lose my mind and find my soul." Cheers.
Good R.E.D. Friday Colonel. I really had to drop some quotes, but still have a goodly number.
I've always been a nature freak, not the tree hugging kind, but one that appreciates the glory of Mother Nature. Nature walks were/are an important part of getting away and appreciating all the places that that the military has seen fit to send me.
