Good morning, Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I used to think that making New Year resolutions was a waste of time and really not a very Godly thing to do. After all, if we could make resolutions and keep them, then why did Jesus have to die for our sins if we had the power to live a sinless life? But being realistic, I’m aware that mankind has failed miserably at being perfect. With that in mind, I still wish to resolve to be closer to Jesus and to rely on Him when I need help or forgiveness. If we were all to resolve to love more, oh what a different world would…
Resolve is kind of like the open door policy, you have to believe in it to use it.
Good Thursday morning Colonel.
