The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Wednesday & Hump Day!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 22 December 2021!
Today’s Message is: “Transparency Day!” Why Not?
“One of the most difficult habits for leaders to learn is transparency. It can make a leader feel vulnerable. Sharing the good and bad with your team is so important. You don’t have to share every little detail. Today’s leadership at various levels and institutions have built a barrier to trust through lack of transparency. Lead by example and manage expectations by keeping everyone in the loop. I call that integrity and fairness!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Wednesday afternoon Colonel.
Having gone through issues that caused groundings with 3 different aircraft I can honestly say that lack of transparency from leadership was worse than the issues that caused the groundings.

Even though it is full of corrupt things and politicians, we have seen the outcome of such things even though transparency has not been the central theme. This lack of transparency has brought us to a very divisive nation, full of distrust. Honesty goes a long way to providing trust. Without trust, it is darn near impossible to accomplish any good. People can work effectively with each…
