Good Tuesday afternoon Colonel.
Good morning, Col Burroughs and all my brothers and sisters here on VFV. While there are many facets of life where resilience is necessary, I believe those in the Military and First Responders display resiliency more than others. That is often done by developing a twisted sense of humor, to deal with the carnage that they are faced with on a day to day basis. Some don’t even know that they are doing so, or why. I believe that those who have a strong inner faith, withstand the rigors of their professions the most successfully. I found a very good article that deals with resilience in a way that could be extremely helpful. It is a bit of a read,…
Great topic for today. I can't think of any organization that teaches resiliency better than the military. And once you learn it there you're ultra prepared for what civilian life throws at you
