The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Monday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the new week from the “Eagle’s Nest” in The Woodlands, TX — 13 December 2021!
Today’s Message is: “Normalize Day!” Why Not?
“How can leaders normalize? Leaders need time to be normal in today’s ‘rat race’ towards perfection. Take time off to rejuvenate, set boundaries by setting expectations and constraints when needed, and there are times you just have to say ‘No!’ If you want to normalize then make sure you have your feelings known and acknowledge those of others. Being human is part of normalization for any leader.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Monday evening Colonel.
Normal is good to a point, but you still need to keep the troops on their toes!
Great quote for today's message Gene - thanks brother and give our best to Linda... Is she back home now?
Good morning, Col Burroughs and all my brothers and sisters, here on VFV. It is a nice crisp, cool and sunshiny morning in Highland, Arkansas this morning. The kind of morning that I would like to consider normal. I would like many things to be normal, such as living in a peaceful nation. But I believe immorality has perverted that idea. That being said, I found a very interesting link that explores how Immorality has become Normalized within American culture, that I would like to share with y'all today. It is a bit long but so relevant to our situation we face today. Have a blessed day, today and always.
