Good Tuesday afternoon Colonel.
On my first command I made it a goal to go out to all the sections so that I could understand my troops and what they did (remember I was a flyer who knew lots about dropping munitions, and nothing about maintaining them). It amazed me the number of times I was told I was the first commander to visit the section.
