Good Saturday evening Colonel. It’s been a busy day, thus the late posting.
You just can't get around the fact that the primary role of a leader is to measure all that they encounter and make decisions based on those measurements.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. If my salvation were to be measured against my righteousness, I would fail miserably. Have a blessed day today and always.

How does God make me to know the measure of my days (Psalm 39:4)?
ANSWER
Psalm 39:4 says, “O Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am!” (ESV). In this verse, David pleads with God to help him understand the brevity of his life. The verses that follow also highlight the futile nature of human life in light of God’s eternal, timeless nature (see also Psalm 90:4).
