Good Thursday afternoon Colonel.
When I got to high school Jack, I wanted auto shop. It was a 4 hour vocational program in the afternoon. My test scores, my guidance counselor, and my dad said I was going to college. So what does the average teen do? They rebel. I got straight B/4’s in biology. My dad came unglued; you’re making B’s with no effort at all (we had effort grades 1-4, with 1 being the highest effort). I told him I was fine with it. Getting ready go my senior year I began to buckle down, since I realized I had no chance to get to auto shop so I busted my butt to get my grades up some so I could be…
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. So far, my best day has been when I surrendered myself to my Creator God. I can find peace in Him in times of trouble, and believe me we are in great trouble these days. Have a blessed day today and always.

Can anyone honestly remember that kid in school who was perfectly happy with getting "Cs" & "Ds"? Doing your best means always striving to make things better for yourself and those around you.
