The concept of not trying to lift others up is totally foreign to me. Unfortunately there are far too many in this world who are totally self centered. One needs to look no further than today's US politics to get a glimpse of how dysfunctional that can be.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. We of the military experience have learned the concept of lifting others up more so than I believe the general population has. We have each others six in battle and peace. That concern carries with us until the day we die. I try to lift people up by sharing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ , so that they may know Him more intimately. I can think of nothing I’d rather do, than to help lift someone up to an eternal existence with our Creator. Have a blessed day today and always.
