Today’s Message is: “Christmas Eve Day!” Why Not?
“A Christmas Eve message for all leaders. Many people will be thankful for your leadership and support over the past year. This is a day for leaders to practice the three ‘R’s: Relax, Reflect, and Rejoice!’ Relax and take some time for family, friends, or that special someone. Reflect on everything that was accomplished throughout the year. Rejoice in the fact that leadership is a privilege to serve others with positive energy and well-being. Here’s wishing all leaders a Merry Christmas Eve! Hope the coming year is bright for you, and others will look up to you and your leadership!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Christmas time conjures up many thoughts and feelings, some good and some not so good. We don’t personally celebrate the current Christmas celebrations because Christmas time has become so secularized. This year we will celebrate it in January when our adopted family is all back from trips to other family members. In the meantime I have submitted below, a look at Christmas Eve meaning and Traditions. We extend to all a very Blessed Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. Have a blessed day today and always.
