Today’s Message is: “Press On Day!” Why Not? (Inspired by Helen Brown)
“Knowing how to “Press On” is a key tool which confident and committed leaders always bring to bear when faced with overwhelming challenges! Their perseverance and strength are without doubt! These committed leaders acquired and honed their knowledge and managerial expertise throughout their careers! They use this expertise in selecting teams, leading teams, building a culture, and creating innovative ways to move from the starting line to the finish line! Are you a difference maker, a creator, a stimulator, and a team builder? Are you a leader who will “Press On” no matter what obstacles are ahead of you?”— COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Sunday afternoon Colonel.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Life throws many punches our way, but many of us learn how to press on and to overcome the obstacles or maladies given to us. For me, I found that relying on the Word of God gets me thru those events. When I can not press on myself is then my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, carry’s me to the goal line. For those who have not considerEd this course of action, I would say, try it, you may like it. Have a blessed day today and always as you press on.

I can equate with this one today. One of the primary paths to success as a SAC aircrew was your ability to press on when the "Magic" stopped working. As long as the aircraft was flyable recovering from systems failures and pressing on was the expected!
