Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I pretty much always thought that I committed myself to my job, until the Holy Spirit convicted my heart to be committed to my Lord and Savior and to serve God daily for the rest of my life. The commitment that I have made to God is not one that I have taken lightly. I pray everyday that I not dishonor that commitment. If one makes commitment they should always honor that commitment. Have a blessed day, in commitment, today and always my brothers and sisters.

High school sports taught me commitment but the military gave me a formal degree in it!

Many, but not all, who experienced the military have developed that commitment. It stays with you for a lifetime, in many cases. Blessings.
