The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” on the road in Brainerd, MN — 22 September 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Unplug Day!” Why Not?
“Leaders need to unplug, recharge the batteries, and avoid getting burned out. They need to make sure the people they lead unplug periodically as well. Failure to disconnect by leadership and others will lead to mistakes being made. Leaders need to understand their limits and find ways to unplug, rest, and relax! They need to make sure their team does the very same. Find your happy space, unplug, regain focus, and get energized for another day!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Thursday evening from NC Colonel.
One lesson that the military taught me very well was to unplug, whether it was mandatory crew rest before a flight or undisturbed time off after pulling a week of nuclear alert.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. As some of you myay know, I have been in the Hospital ICU unit for heart issues, stents, and internal bleeding. I have had to plug into God for healing. I wish to thank all that have supported me in prayer.
