The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Saturday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the weekend from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 17 September 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Unspoken Words Day!” Why Not?
“How can unspoken words affect leaders? The impact of nonverbal communication is so important in leadership. Body language can be a guide for leaders to make changes and take necessary actions that will have a positive effect on the culture and climate of an organization. Leaders have to pick up on body language and understand what is being said without any words being spoken. A leader’s body language and expression are also unspoken words that may give off a negative signal. Actions are unspoken words and actions speak louder than words. Don’t miss important unspoken words and clues that are meaningful to your leadership. When you communicate with people, give them your full attention and posture. It may open up their eyes and yours as well!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
