The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Tuesday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 30 August 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Dare Day!” Why Not?
“What is daring leadership? All great leaders dare to be different. They ‘Walk the Talk’ by actually taking risks instead of just talking about them. Daring leaders have the courage it takes to serve others for a greater good, than just serving themselves. They are committed to their purpose and they provide value through their leadership. Daring leadership is all about demonstrating trust through their actions and consistently earning greater trust by living their values alongside those they lead. Daring leaders invest time in people by understanding and empathy, nurturing, and grooming them for the future. Do you dare to be a different leader?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Gene, I believe you meant to say a plane with a reasonable chance of landing safely. There’s no such animal as a perfectly good airplane! LOL
Good evening Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I have had one of those days, with the pain Doctor and other non productive things. I thought that I would take this topic in the direction of marriage. Dare has many different applications in life. I have chosen something that should be addressed to married folk., because they do not dare to stay married, in the tough times. I found a link about the Love Dare that is very interesting and informative and I hope that y’all find it that way as well. Have a blessed evening tonight and always.

The Love Dare: Day 39 Day 39 Love Endures Love never fails. – 1 Corinthians 13:8 …
In flying we referred to daring as flying on the ragged edge of control.......Right up to the limits of what the aircraft can do. Leadership should be no different, follow the rules, but dare to push the limits.
Good Tuesday morning Colonel.
