The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Sunday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 21 August 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Hand Day!” Why Not?
“How important is it for leaders to be a whole person on every level? All great leaders lead with their whole being, meaning with their head, their heart, and their hands! They use their head to motivate, energize, and engage the people they lead. They reach the heart through encouragement, motivation, and mentorship, and they extend a hand to those who are struggling! By doing this, these great leaders create a strong bond and connection, which cannot be broken with the team nor their organization. In so doing, the team and organization gives back in the form of measured results! Remember, always, that before leaders can ask for a hand in their day-to-day responsibilities, they must show that they, themselves, lead, all-in with their head, heart, and hands. Are you ready to lead with your head, heart, and hands?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Sunday afternoon Colonel.
I think we've all given a hand
to help others at some point....it's what we do!
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Today’s topic immediately had me thinking about the hand of God. I constantly seek to have God’s Hand on everything I do and say. I know that there is always one set of hands that will never let me down, but instead be there for me when I am weak and need a helping hand, and those hands belong to our very own Creator God. I have provided a brief look at what the Bible says about it, below. Have a blessed day today and always as y’all seek the awesome hands of God for all of your needs.
