The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 18 August 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Refine Day!” Why Not?
“How is Leadership refined? Leaders who inspire with ‘fire’ get others to think, do, and be better in every way. Good leadership requires the necessary skills that need to be honed and refined on a constant basis. Leaders need to have the knowledge to challenge, motivate with inspiration, and set the standards for performance. Being that type of leader takes constant refinement and believing that leadership goes well beyond just the title or position. Do you have the fire and desire to refine your leadership?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I highly doubt that anyone could ever say that they have never made a mistake. I believe that making a mistake is an opportunity to make us better. That is why I chose the below article for posting today. I hope that y’all enjoy it are are blessed by it today and always.

Does God Want Us to Learn from Our Mistakes?
Mistakes do not define you — they refine you. God wants us to learn from our mistakes. And if we let Him, God will use the results of our mistakes as the foundation upon which He can build a new life.
Heather…
I've always been leery of a leader, or anyone for that matter, for whom everything always goes right. You have to stumble a bit if you're ever going to refine your skills.
Good Thursday morning Colonel! I liked the Smith quote so I chose to use it today.
