The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Sunday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 14 August 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Conversation Day!” Why Not?
“In leadership there will be difficult conversations. It all starts by listening, identifying the facts and needs of others, and developing the correct response. Having difficult conversations as a leader is very important. Reaching an understanding with people is a great way to create a motivating and inspiring culture and climate in any organization. Great leaders don’t sugar coat tough conversations. They have the courage and strength to listen effectively and make the appropriate connections, that ultimately lead to action. Do you have the skills and courage to have impactful and difficult conversations?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

The solution to this problem is to seriously partake in a conversation with the ability and intention of listening to opposite opinions and facts. There just may be a parting of the ways with a much better appreciation of one another. Oh what a…
