The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
“What Day is it”
Good “Wednesday & Hump Day!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 13 July 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Service Day!” Why Not?
“Leadership is all about service. Whether a leader is serving on the battlefield, leading and servicing a community, or serving an organization, the real power and reward for great leadership is their service to others, not the position or title they may hold. Great leaders give service, they don’t expect it. They inspire others to be more, learn more and do more. Leadership is an ongoing commitment, passion, and opportunity to serve for a higher purpose. Leadership is not about you, it's about serving others. Are you willing to give and serve as a leader?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. A wonderful topic today which took me on a long search. There were many great links to look at, but honestly very lengthy. I chose to share just a small segment from within the below link. I encourage y’all to read the entirety of the link, if you’re so inclined. I tried and failed many times in my attempts to be more service orientated to all folks. Jesus chose not to just be of service to “Godly” folks, but instead to all the downtrodden and needy. It is a county task to be sure, but we must try. Have a blessed day today and always as…
Good Wednesday afternoon Colonel.
I've posted before that I got in trouble for comments about Hump Day so I'll skip that. The day is what you make it and hopefully it's positive for you and those who you lead.
