The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 23 June 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Standards Day!” Why Not?
“How important is it for leaders to set standards? Leaders who set standards or even high standards for their people and organizations, have placed accountability at the top of their priority list! The key is in balancing the ‘standards bar’ at the right level for members to successfully reach, albeit, with a stretch, but not so low that it results in poor motivation, low morale, and unsuccessful results. The high standards, which a leader sets for themself, is reflected in their confidence, expectations of what is possible, humility, and their actions! What standards have you set for yourself as a leader?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Exactly right Jack... I've always set the bar high my friend... it's importance for the next success of any organization or individual, as well as yourself. Have a great after and evening brother...
Good Thursday afternoon Colonel.
When I think of standards I humorously think of the fictional performance review line.....consistently fails to meet the low standards set for him/her.....Seriously if your own standards aren't high it's hard to expect anyone under you to be any different.
