The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Happy "Father’s Day!" to those fathers that can’t be home today!
Good “Sunday & Father’s Day!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 19 June 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Looking Up To Day!” Why Not?
“Be the leader that people want to look up to! People in organizations want to look up to leaders that inspire, motivate, and energize them every day. How leaders treat people says a lot about their leadership. People want a leader to look up to that will take them to places they would never imagine going to or reaching goals that produce the greatest results. Leaders that really listen, delegate, take ownership and responsibility, and that are consistent in their values are the leaders’ people will look up to. Who is looking up at you?”— COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good sSunday afternoon Colonel
Happy Father’s Day to all my brother, Fathers.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. A great topic today. I am always reminded that I do not deserve to be looked up to, but instead remind folks that they should be looking up to Jesus and Father God. After all, they are the source of all that is good that comes to us. When we look up to anyone else, we are actually looking down and not up. I certainly do not want to be caught looking down. Have a blessed day today and always as y’all look up to God for everything.

Are You Looking Up or Down?

That's the type of person I've always tried to be. Some may quibble over my success but at least I keep trying.
