The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 19 May 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Work in Progress Day!” Why Not?
“Refining and improving your leadership skills and qualities will always be a work in progress. You never stop improving, learning, and experiencing new things on a daily basis. Today’s environment is always changing, it’s complex, and your own life is changing every moment. You have to adapt and move with the flow. People and the organization you lead will not change if you’re not willing to change or make progress and create new opportunities and open up new possibilities. Every leader will always be a work in progress!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Thursday afternoon Colonel. Didn't make the clinic today.just being cautious since my wife had contact this past weekend with family that have turned up positive for covid this week. Just not willing to take a chance at spreading it. Neither of us have any signs or symptoms.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I would like to think that I’m a work in progress, but I realize that I fall into a slump, from time to time. When I awaken to that realization, I pray and ask for God’s Holy Spirit to strengthen me and then I push forward again. Staying in the Word of our Creator God is a wonderful way to keep growing. I desire to continue as a work in process. May you have a blessed day today and always, as you continue to be a work in process.

Your comment is spot on, Jack. Have a blessed day as you are a work in progress.
A good day is one that you learn something new, and you should never stop learning. By definition that makes you a work in progress!
