The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 12 May 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Community Day!” Why Not?
“What makes a great community leader? Most importantly, they care about the people. They have the ability to inspire people, show empathy, communicate with strength and skill, and show pride in their work. Community leaders are the problem solvers and get people to work together for a common goal or purpose. Leadership encompasses leading organizations, communities, and groups of people toward something greater than themselves. Are you ready and willing to build a community?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Yes,still working the afternoon shift on Thursdays. Still enjoying the volunteering.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Have a blessed day today and always, as y’all seek to participate in your given community of choice.

The Christian community – What is it?
Many people refer to the "Christian community." What is it? Usually people use this term to refer to Christians in general or the majority of…
Whenever I think of community in this context I fall back to the phrase " It takes a village". Honestly I have to say that the military is probably the only organization I've been involved with that really understands that concept.
Good Thursday morning Colonel.
