The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Monday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the start of the new week from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 25 April 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Sharp Day!” Why Not?
“A leader needs to stay sharp, sharpen their skills, and keep a sharp mind. Don’t be a creature of habit. Learning new things, staying active, and finding fulfillment is providing service to others or for a cause. Take a break occasionally, to sharpen the mind by traveling so you can hone your leadership and coping skills. Finding a quiet place in nature will allow you to meditate to clear and center your head. Make your mind and leadership skills the sharpest tools in your toolbox!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Todays topic instantly had me think of the tongue. The tongue can be a very effective or destructive tool that we may use. I have chosen some selections from The Berean today, referring to just that. The last portion in the link; James 3:14-16, really hit home with me. I count myself among the guilty as charged, in those verses. I constantly have to remind myself to be aware of what I say. It might sound funny at the time, but can be so very hurtful. Have a blessed day today and always.

What the Bible says about Sharp Tongue (From Forerunner Commentary)
Pretty easy topic for those with a military background to understand, but not necessarily for the rest of society.
Good Monday morning Colonel. I was not able to respond yesterday, I was at Talladega Superspeedway with little to no internet.
