The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!

Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 7 April 2022!

Today’s Message is: “First Step Day!” Why Not?

“What is the first step in the leadership process? First and foremost, knowing who you are. Know your strengths, weaknesses, values, and know how you will impact others. Being self-aware is so important, but it isn’t enough. You must seek feedback from your team and your peers. Getting to know who you are as a leader can be an important first step. Are you ready to take the first step?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. When I look at today’s topic, I look at where I am now and how I have changed a lot of my thinking. I have now come to believe that if I should look at how God takes a different approach. When I look back over my life, I have come to realize that when I turn to God for guidance, the results of my endeavors turn out much better. The human way doesn’t always work as well as God’s. May y’all have a blessed day today and always, as you consider God, before y’all take that first step.
