Today’s Message is: “Intensity Day!” Why Not?
“How important is intensity of purpose in leadership? In a crisis, effective leaders are the important source of trust, stability, and resilience. Intensity is the energy they will expend with purpose to overcome obstacles and reach a desired performance level. Intensity is exercised when there is tremendous drive to get things done along with a keen focus and getting others into action. Know when to be intense and when to pull your foot off the gas and be mindful of people’s needs. Find the balance between intensity and consistency!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Intensity gets things done but one must remember that it takes a lot of work and preparation to maintain high levels of intensity. Don't confuse a little R&R with lack of intensity.
