The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!

Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 10 March 2022!

Today’s Message is: “Carrying Weight Day!” Why Not?

“All leaders will carry a certain amount of weight on their shoulder’s day-in and day-out. The weight is dependent on the people and organization they are leading. They have responsibilities and one of them is being able to carry the heavy burden. Sharpen your skills, build self-confidence, and take ownership of your actions. We all have our own weight-bearing loads. Sometimes you need to lighten the load and empower your people to help carry it with you. How you carry that burden and weight matters!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. A person’s burdens can be very difficult to bear, but there is always someone who can help relieve the load. I used to try to do it all by myself. I found some things way too difficult to carry alone, both physically and spiritually. When I completely left my life to God, my burden and fears were lifted off my shoulders. I pray that your burdens will be lifted and that one person that can do this for y’all is in the person of Jesus Christ. He is faithful to and will help in time of trouble, if y’all ask and truly release it all on…

We all carry the weight of many things in our lives. It's how you respond and adapt to that weight that sets a real leader apart.

You're absolutely correct Jack...some days it can be 500 pounds and other days you're light as a feather my friend. The key ti to carry yourself in such a way, no one else can tell if its the 500 pounds or the feather... Have a great day brother
