The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Wednesday & Hump Day!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 23 February 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Talking Day!” Why Not?
“Too much talking can be cheap for a leader unless it’s backed up by real actionable progress and results that get everyone’s attention. Too much talking and not enough doing will lead an organization and its team nowhere.” Don’t be that leader that talks too much and says so little. If you’re going to talk the talk, then be ready to walk the walk!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

When flying and encountering a major problem we had the ability to contact our home base no matter where in the world we were to talk through the issue. Our leaders and experts were there to render assistance and possible solutions but frequently there would be so much chatter that they just exacerbated the situation. Fortunately there was a switch that could cut them off.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I have little time to respond this morning because of doctors appointments. I’ll try to get back later. Have a blessed day today and always.
