The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 27 January 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Come This Far Day!” Why Not?
“If you intend on leading others you need to give them a reason to follow you by instilling pride and giving them solid reasons for being a part of a great organization. Recognize their accomplishments, so they are proud of themselves. You must also take pride in what you’ve done and how far you've come. Always look ahead to the future, how you will get there, and take pride in how far you and the team will go. How far have you come and how far will you go?" — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Thursday evening Colonel.
Like the JFK quote this morning. I've always tended to look at what's ahead rather than how far I've come, but the reality is that how far you have come is what let's you move ahead.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. If JFK were alive, he would definitely be weeping over what once was a great nation. The way things are now, I don’t think that our country will climb back up. It so sad, but unfortunately true. I am continuing to go forward in my relationship with Jesus, because everything that is happening is pointing to his soon return. For that I am anxiously awaiting, but I know that until he does I still need to continue to go this journey because I didn’t come this far to fail him. Have a blessed day in the Lord, today and always.
