The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Sunday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 9 January 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Blind Spots Day!” Why Not?
“Why is it important to be aware of blind spots as a leader? Understanding blind spots allows a leader to see what is missing between the actual and the desired behavior of people they lead. A common blind spot missing today in some of our leaders and organizations is integrity. Make sure you reinforce the importance of honesty and integrity for yourself and others at all levels. Check your leadership blind spots!" — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning, Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Reading this topic today reminded me of the saying in Jeremiah 5:21, Hear now this, O foolish people and without understanding, who have eyes and see not, who have ears and hear not:
I believe that this can equate to the topic today. We all have a blindspot or two, but we should use all of our senses to compensate for them. (Just a thought) As I was researching today, I found a link, of which I would like to pick out a portion from, that talks directly to how we can handle our blind spots. I hope you find it as instructive as I have.…
Your quote troubles me. My meme is an older quote,
so what you are saying is we are well on our way to 4.4 blind spots.
Good Sunday morning Colonel.
