The Colonel’s Motivational Quotes of the Day!
Good “Saturday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse” and all great connections. Welcome to the weekend from the “Eagle’s Nest” from Castle Rock, CO! — 15 August 2020!
Bella, Mom, and I will be out early this morning at Fort Logan National Cemetery placing a “A Flower on Every Grave (Roses)!” Due to COVID-19 we had to move it from Memorial Day to 15 August, but the mission will be completed. We raised over $12,150.00 this year and will be placing 12,000 plus roses today, so I will not be able to respond until later today.
Today is: “Curiosity Day!” Why Not?
“There is an old proverb, “Curiosity Killed the Cat!” In the military line of business curiosity is paramount. Great leaders will always ask the tough questions. They will seek answers from the team and other leaders to make the best possible decisions, that will save lives.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
