Good “Saturday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse,” and all great connections. Welcome to the weekend from the “Eagle’s Nest” on the road “RIPRIDE4Vets 2021! — 5 June 2021!

Day 3 – Had a tough day riding in non-stop rain, but made it to Frierson, LA and Mett with Kevin Russell the Founder & Executive Director for Warriorhorse and nonprofit dedicated to Equine Therapy for veterans suffering with PTSD… See pictures below and short video on “bunny” the Arabian Horse that started the whole program, from there made it over to Batesville, MS for a dinner with LTC Jeff Shearer. It was great to meet Jeff in person. What a wonderful friend and veteran. Today is Day 4 and I’m headed to Alabama to see another great veteran SGT Michael Thorian and his wife Vicky, then off to Atlanta, GA for the night. Hoping for better weather today, at least dry and no wet.
