Every Sunday: "Journaling with Warriors!"

Journaling About Trauma: Writing to Heal

Journaling or expressive writing means jotting down your thoughts and feelings about a specific event, series of events, or interactions. Journaling for mental health is a perfect practice for those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) post-traumatic stres disorder (PTSD) or complex trauma, because they have a space to process emotions without inhibition and fear of judgment. Writing gives survivors a place to say what is often unsayable.

...Heads up though, this is a safe space for you and your peers so certain topics will remain off the table. Politics, religion, and sexual nature subjects are for another place and time! Let's have fun getting our journals set up and exploring new ways to release this negativity from the body and mind, thus providing a greater sense of well-being." Army Veteran Diana Rodriguez

Drop in for "Journaling with Warriors!" every Sunday afternoon to share and write down your thoughts. Great place to meet other veterans, first responders, caregivers, and active service members. Everyone is welcome!
