Come join Veteran SGT Steve McFarland TONIGHT for "Healing Through Faith" addition of Warriors for Life (WFL) Virtual Group Support Community Services.
Last Tuesday Steve got hit by a storm, so he has to cancel his group support, so we're bringing the same topic back TONIGHT.

TONIGHT's Topic: "The Handwriting On The Wall - When Failure IS Final"
Maybe it was a bad performance-review, or your last chance for "up or out" before a Promotion Board, most of us have had to face the time when we were at the end of the road. We have all felt the sting of failure, but most failures aren't final. We have been given that second-chance to redeem ourselves, but Nabonidus failed the most important test of his life. He had slept through his History classes, and failed to learn from the mistakes of his father, Nebuchadnezzar. It was a fatal-mistake, and he didn't get any second-chance.
Nebuchadnezzar has died and Nabonidus has ascended the throne. While Nabonidus is out of the country on business, his son, Belshazzar has become acting-king of Babylon. As this scene opens, Belshazzar has thrown a great feast in honor of his gods.
As the feast progresses, he sees a hand, writing on the wall:
MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN
26 This is the interpretation of each word. MENE: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; 27 TEKEL: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; 28 PERES: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.”
The time for warnings and reprimands was over, he had failed the test, and God handed him his "pink-slip". He was finished... It was the end of the road...
Where do YOU see "the handwriting on the wall"?
