Some folks have the mistaken idea that the blessing of God in their lives is so that they can have just enough to survive. But survival is not the point. The real reason God blesses His people is so that they can in turn bless others.

We are blessed to be a blessing. In truth, you cannot give away something until you first have possession of it yourself. It is from the overflow in our own lives that we are able to bless those around us.

So until you have enough plus extra to overflow, your ability to bless others is significantly limited. Since that’s the case, why not start believing God to bless you with extra for you to use in blessing someone else?
