Waiting on God's timing is critical. If God has given you a big vision, give Him a chance to tell you when to do that thing. Often God shows us what before He shows us when.

Unfortunately many times believers assume the when is, "now!" And they crash and burn as a result. Sometimes God indeed means for us to step into what He told us immediately. But more often there is a period of time before what God tells us will come to pass.

Consider it a test. Will you be patient and maintain your faith in what God told you until He tells you it's time to step into it? After all it is through faith and patience that we inherit the promises of God!

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay. — Habakkuk 2:3 (WEB)
