Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings

09 April 2025

You have a choice what to do with your stuff. You can sell it for some right now cash. Or you can sow it for a future harvest. Keep in mind that the value of a seed is far greater than the value of a sale.

Yes, seedtime and harvest usually takes longer than a quick sale. But is the instant gratification worth giving up your thirty, sixty, or hundredfold return that comes with the harvest?

If you are desperate and in survival mode you may not see how you can wait on the harvest. That's reason enough right there to get out of debt and build some financial margin into your life. Then you will have more options, more opportunities to plant financial seed, and more corresponding opportunities to harvest too!

Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted! — Matthew 13:8 (NLT)
