You can get wealthy either in the world's mammon system or in the Kingdom of God through God's blessings. Both of these approaches promise to prosper us when we master their ways. One of the many differences between the two is the baggage that comes with that wealth. The world's Mammon system is cursed. So wealth gained by that system comes with baggage like selfishness, greed, isolation, disappointment, damaged relationships, regret, insignificance, despair, and the list goes on. This is why so many wealthy people who are successful by the world's standard commit suicide. However, wealth gained by the blessing of God in His Kingdom has none of that baggage whatsoever. The Bible is clear. There is no sorrow that comes with godly wealth. |
