The world’s system is exactly backwards from the Kingdom of God in many ways, including in the area of strength. In the world, strength is all about power, and the ability to control and dominate others. In the Kingdom of God, the joy of the Lord is your strength. So many believers miss this and fixate on fighting the enemy. It’s time we wake up and realize Jesus won the victory. The only fight left for us is to enforce that victory Jesus already won. Talk about something to get excited about! It means we can shift our perspective and begin to engage in far more “joy-fare” instead of so much warfare. It is only in Christ that you experience the world-overcoming strength you need to accomplish your God assignment. And that strength starts as you experience joy in your intimate association with God through Jesus. Make a decision to enter into joy today and watch your godly strength increase as you do! |
