God is the most generous person in the universe. He generously gave His own Son so that you could enjoy eternal life. Now that you’re in Christ, He blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms. And He generously supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory. As a follower of Jesus you are a child of God. That means you have the Father's DNA and have that same kind of generosity planted inside you, waiting to be released. This generosity can take many forms. For example, you can be generous in love, your time, forgiveness, service, and yes, even with your money. Every time you do something real to bless someone else, you are expressing the generosity of God, your Father. |
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. — 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 (NLT) |
