The word of God is a strong tower that withstands the onslaught of problems the world sends our way. The key to being able to weather the storms of life is to be a doer of the Word, and not just a hearer only.

Jesus contrasted two kinds of people. The ones who hear and do what Jesus instructs stand strong in spite of the storms. He said their house was built on a rock-solid foundation.

But those who hear yet neglect to do what Jesus says get swept away. Take action. It’s in the doing of the word that your foundation grows strong. Do what God tells you to do when He tells you to do it.

Not only will that position you to withstand anything life throws at you, but coming into agreement with God and His word will release faith to see the supernatural in your life. It’s an adventure second to none.

Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock..
