BIBLE IN A YEAR

AUDIO VERSION

Life can be exhausting sometimes. We push ourselves through busy schedules, unexpected hardships, and moments of feeling worn out. It is in those moments that Isaiah reminds us to wait on the Lord.

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Waiting is not easy. It often feels like standing still when you would rather be moving forward, but the waiting God talks about here is not about being idle but about trusting God. It is about leaning on Him when you do not have all the answers and believing He is working things out, even if you can not see it yet.

When we rely on our strength, we get tired. The demands of life pull us in every direction, and it is easy to feel like we are running on empty, but when we pause, breathe, and put our hope in God, something shifts. He renews and lifts us above the chaos like an eagle soaring high above the storm clouds.

Eagles do not fight the wind, they use it to rise higher. In the same way, God uses the challenges of life to strengthen and elevate us when we trust Him.

Think about those times when you did not know how to make it through, but somehow, you did. That was God giving you strength. He promises that when you lean on Him, you will not just survive, you will thrive. You will keep going without burning out, walk through challenges, and not faint because the Holy Spirit is carrying you.

If you feel drained or overwhelmed today, pause and wait on God. Talk to Him. Let His peace fill your heart. Let His strength be more than enough for whatever you are facing. Keep trusting and walking, and know that God is lifting you higher than you can imagine.

You are not alone in this life. God has you, and He always will.

Heavenly Father, I thank You I can trust You in any situation I may face. You always will carry me through no matter what the test may be. You are there to lead and guide me and as I recognize this and walk in it I will have the peace only You can give. Thank You, Father, for always being there for me. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
