Through the Lords mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
Lamentations 3:22Daily Reading Plan
Read: Bible in a Year: LOVE THAT NEVER FAILS Life has a way of feeling overwhelming at times. The weight of responsibilities, unexpected challenges, and even our mistakes can make us feel like we are barely holding on. Through the Lords mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. Lamentations 3:22 The mercies of God keep us from being consumed. No matter how tough things get, His compassion never fails. We serve a God whose mercy is not limited by our failures. He does not wake up one day and decide He has had enough of us. His love remains steady, His patience unshaken. When we feel like we have reached the end of our strength, His mercy meets us there. He lifts us, not because we have earned it, but because of who He is. Jeremiah wrote these words during one of the darkest times of Israel. The city of Jerusalem had been destroyed, and the people were suffering because of their sins. Yet even in the middle of ruin, Jeremiah found hope in the unfailing compassion of God. If He could be merciful to His people in their lowest moments, He can certainly be merciful to us. Maybe you have been struggling with guilt over past mistakes. Perhaps you feel like you have failed too many times to be worthy of the love of God. We are not consumed, and we are not abandoned. The mercy of God does not run out, it renews every morning. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:23 No matter where you are or what you have done, The compassion of God is greater. His mercy is enough for today and will be enough for tomorrow. Let that sink in. Let it bring peace to your heart. Because of the mercies of God, you are still here and loved. His compassion will never fail you.Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you. Heavenly Father, thank You for the mercy that comes from You. I am thankful Your mercy does not fail. My heart's desire is to walk in Your precepts but if I have done anything wrong, Your mercies are always there to pick me up. I want to please You so very much and I thank You for Your love, forgiveness and mercy. I thank You and praise You in the name of Jesus. Amen.No Matter Where You Are Or What You Have Done, The Compassion Of God Is Greater. |
