It seems obvious, but God never makes mistakes. He didn't mess up when He made you. God has no intention for you to be a failure. The truth is just the opposite. God's thoughts, plans, and intentions are for your total well being. The Hebrew word the Bible uses is “shalom.” In English it’s often translated as “peace.” But it encompasses so much more than that. Look at all the word really means: completeness, welfare, peace, completeness, safety, soundness, health, prosperity, quiet, tranquility, contentment, and friendship. You will do well to take some time to meditate on all those things and what they might look like in your life. What would your life look like if it were thoroughly complete in every aspect? What would change in your health? What would be different in your life if you had such an abundance that you were able to give generously every single time you saw a need? What would you be doing if you had true and total contentment? These questions are worth pondering because God intends all this for you and much more! You were created to be a success! |
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. — Jeremiah 29:11 (AMPC) |
