Do you understand how much God has given to you? He has set before us a banquet table fit for a king. But instead of coming in and taking our seat at the table, we mostly prefer to stay in the street playing in mud puddles licking our dirty fingers.
You were (past tense) adopted into God’s family as His very own son or daughter the moment you believed in Jesus. In Christ you are the very righteousness of God Himself. You could never earn it. But because Jesus obeyed the Law perfectly in every respect, and because you are now in Him as a believer, it’s just as if you also obeyed the Law just as perfectly as Jesus did.
That’s not all. Because of the righteousness which belongs to you through your position in Christ, every promise from God you see in the Bible also belongs to you. Your inheritance is every bit as extravagant as the inheritance Jesus gets because you are joint heirs with Him.
God's grace has made perfect provision for your every need. It's time to accept your royal position in Christ. Take your seat at the table. Taste and see how good God truly is!
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work. — 2 Corinthians 9:8 (WEB)
